Personality to be sentenced in October.
A US reality TV star has admitted to smuggling more than $10,000 in Australian currency back to America following a tour of the country in 2014.
According to Fairfax, founder and star of reality TV program Dance Moms, Abby Lee Miller, failed to report the money and has pleaded guilty to violating currency reporting laws.
Miller and her dance class hosted performances and meet-and-greet sessions throughout Australia during the tour, with tickets to the events costing up to $179 for aspiring dancers.
Prosecutors have also alleged the dance instructor tried to smuggle $US120,000 ($160,000) in her employees' luggage.

Miller is facing an extra $US250,000 fine and five years in prison.
"I have made the difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way," Miller said.
Miller was also hit with one charge of bankruptcy fraud from an indictment last year, where she was accused of not declaring $US755,000 ($1.021 million) of TV earnings. Payments were also made out to Miller’s mother instead of herself, after she filed for bankruptcy in 2010.
With Miller to be sentenced this October, the future of Dance Moms, the show Sia dancer Maddie Ziegler found fame on, is now unclear.
