'Everything Fell Off': The Struggles That Birthed Telenova's New Album, 'The Warning'

What Was A Copy Of The Original Star Wars Script Doing In A Public University Library?

In an aisle far, far away.

A copy for the script of the original 1977 Star Wars film, Episode IV: A New Hope has shockingly been found in a public university library.

According to CBC, librarian of the University of New Brunswick in Canada, Kristian Brown, was digitising the sci-fi section of the library when he fell upon a blue paper-bound script, covered with the official Lucasfilm stamps.

"I was just looking actually for something else entirely and then I just found this unique looking item," Brown said of his discovery, with the date written on the front reading: 'March 15,1976' — a year before the film's theatrical release.

Lucasfilm Publicity have claimed that while the script in question looks to be a copy of the original, it appeared to be a fan-made replica.

Interestingly, there are some differences in the discovered work, most notably that the character Luke Skywalker was originally named 'Luke Starkiller' and that the script had been written with the title, 'Saga I' before it eventually became known as the fourth installment.

While it is still unknown as to how the script ended up in the university, the library plan to take full advantage of the amazing discovery by putting it on display in the building.
