beadbadoobee's A Thousand Miles cover continues a recent trend by younger artists in the indie-rock and alt-pop space that has seen a host of them transform hits of the 90s and early 00s with unique readings. It is beadbadoobee's most recent offering of many of this kind, having previously covered indie faves Pavement.
The BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge set also included a performance of one of beadadobee's breakthrough hits The Perfect Pair. Lifted from her acclaimed record Beatopia. Both performances showcase beabadoobee's charismatic live persona, which wowed audiences at the Forum earlier this year.
