"Touring live is the greatest energy hit."

More The Veronicas More The Veronicas

Aussie favourites The Veronicas have announced a massive headline tour in support of their newly-announced albums, Godzilla and Human.

With the records set for release on 28 May and 2 July respectively, the duo will head out on their first Australian tour in six years in June with shows confirmed in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Tweed Heads, Darwin, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Hobart and Melbourne.

The concerts will deliver a "unique experience" split in two parts for fans - "Godzilla will be a high energy introduction into the alter ego of the pop stars, The Veronicas, and Human will see Lisa and Jess strip it all back to their more vulnerable singer/songwriter roots".

"Touring live is the greatest energy hit. Transforming from a dance party to emotional sing-a-longs, we’ve missed it so much," The Veronicas said.

"We can’t wait to be back on stage with you all again."
