With just a matter of days to go until the release of their self-titled debut album, Velvet Bloom have announced a national run of tour dates.

Having been sharing music for seven years now, Velvet Bloom (fronted by the ever-talented Maddy Herbert) have been rising through the Australian music scene as they craft a blissful blend of indie influences with soulful tones and ethereal pop influences.

Now, the self-titled Velvet Bloom album is set to arrive on March 28th, with a number of singles – including Silver Tongue, Best In You, and Time – all preceding its eagerly-awaited arrival.

“We have dedicated the past three years of our lives to the creation and release of our debut album,” said Herbert. “We have really refined our sound throughout the making of this body of work, pushing ourselves and each other to achieve something that we are all incredibly proud of.

“This album draws inspiration from soul classics and modern alternative-pop, while blending genres like folk, funk, neo-soul and indie-rock into the mix. I couldn’t be more grateful for the band, community and other artists and collaborators who have contributed countless hours to each aspect of this project.”

Now, Velvet Bloom have detailed an extensive run of tour dates which will keep them busy from the end of March until mid-July.
