The quintet of prodigious music makers from around the country are in with the chance to win a huge slew of prizes: they'll be flown out to Sydney to professionally record their next big single in the triple j studios, get connected with some of the biggest names in the industry, and join the hugely prestigious alumni of previous Unearthed High winners.
The finalists for 2021 include:
Sydney synth-pop producer edith (aka Abby Taylor) for her dreamy alt tune Who Cares.

As well as being in the running for Unearthed High 2021, KAYPS has also been announced as the recipient of this year's Unearthed High Indigenous Initiative.

The five performers now join the ranks of previous finalists and winners of the competition including Gretta Ray, Japanese Wallpaper, Tia Gostelow, Montaigne, Hockey Dad and stacks more.
