“This will be your only chance to ever see the original Wiggles performing together again.”
After parting ways in 2012 with an emotionally-charged farewell tour, the original members of The Wiggles have finally locked down a Melbourne venue for their next 25th anniversary over-18s party.
It’s an interesting series of events when you’re raised by an overzealous children’s band and decades later getting messy with them, but a formula that works, with a Sydney reunion in February selling out within hours.
Members Jeff Fatt, Murray Cook, Greg Page and Anthony Field will join forces yet again at iconic rock venue The Croxton Hotel on Friday 9 September, with all funds raised from the show donated to Soldier On, an organisation that assists veterans returning home, with Field as their ambassador and a former member of the Australian Army himself.
And of course it wouldn’t be a party without Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword.

“This will be your only chance to ever see the original Wiggles performing together again,” the event listing reads. So don’t be a Jeff – get onto tickets ASAP when they go live via Oztix this Friday, July 15 at 9am.
At the end of the band’s 2012 run, Field, more commonly known as the Blue Wiggle, was the only original member to continue on, enlisting Emma Watkins, Lachlan Gillespie and Simon Pryce to sport the famous yellow, purple and red colours.
Kicking off in 1991, The Wiggles fame is rivalled by few other Aussie acts, selling over 23 million DVDs and seven million CDs and scoring 17 gold, 12 platinum, three double-platinum and ten multi-platinum awards as they established themselves as a global force.
Last month, The Wiggles dropped a painfully catchy State Of Origin tune.
