Next January, music and arts summit Sugar Mountain makes its return to the heart of Melbourne and today's full programme announce, featuring some massive international acts and Victorian heavyweights, ensures that the 2017 event will be one for the books.

Leading the way is UK artist and cultural icon Blood Orange in what will be his first performance in Australia since 2012 and his only show in Melbourne during his trip Down Under.

Other overseas talent include German electro producer Pantha Du Prince, Canadian songwriter Jessy Lanza, UK rapper Little Simz and an exclusive collaboration between US synth legend Suzanne Ciani and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith at the festival's indoor theatre space.

On the home front, a number of local favourites have been slated in for SM17 including Big Scary, My Disco, Methyl Ethel, Sui Zhen, The Belligerents and Rolling Blackouts to name a few.
