More The Cure More The Cure

According to fans who have received postcards from the band, The Cure’s first new album in 16 years is finally coming soon.

This week, some of The Cure’s fan club members received black matte postcards that seemingly confirmed the title and release date of the band’s forthcoming album.

Looking at the postcards, The Cure’s follow-up to 2008’s 4:13 Dream is set for release on Friday, 1 November. On the postcard, the new LP should be called Songs Of A Lost World.

As Audacy reports, the English gothic rockers also recently scrubbed the front page of their website, updating their logo to a minimalistic black background with the words “the CURE” on it and a notice to sign up for updates.

The change on the website follows a recent post by guitarist Reeves Gabrels, who wrote on Instagram: “The Cure website is www dot thecure dot com -- where you can sign up for news. #thecure #songsofalostworld @thecure”. The logo has also been updated on the band’s social media profiles.
