The Beards Frontman Returns To Feature On Latest 'The Simpsons' Punk Cover

And it is glorious.

More Dan Cribb Dan Cribb

After saying goodbye to their bearded friends and fans last year, The Beards frontman Johann Beardraven is making his triumphant return as the latest artist to feature on the hugely-popular The Simpsons punk covers, led by  WA muso and The Music's own Perth editor Dan Cribb.

Following a huge batch of acts who have lent their voices to the year-long Worst Tribute Ever series including Alex Lahey, Ecca Vandal and Jen Boyce (Ball Park Music), Beardraven and Cribb team up to perform the iconic (and fitting) It Was A Very Good Beer.

Meanwhile, burgeoning Sydney songwriter Taj Ralph is also getting in on the action, taking on The Love-Matic Grandpa.

Give the songs a spin below, and check out the rest of the covers over on Bandcamp.

The Worst Tribute Ever series will continue in 2018 with beloved songs from the show to still be covered, including Monorail, Who Needs The Kwik-E-Mart? and See My Vest.

Cribb will also play some of the covers at Perth's City Limits Festival on 3 March, alongside names such as British India and Frenzal Rhomb; click on theGuide for more details.
