Steve AokiCalifornian electro DJ and producer Steve Aoki has announced his Australian headline tour for October. The tour includes headline dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and one as-yet-unannounced show and will be Aoki's first Australian gigs since 2010.
These shows come off the back of what has already been a big year for the bass-hungry Aoki. His debut album, Wonderland, features an impressive roster of collaborators including Lil Jon, LMFAO & NERVO and [[[zuper blahq]]] (a.k.a will.i.am) to Travis Barker (Blink 182) and Rivers Cuomo (Weezer).
The album showcases Aoki's signature blend of electro, house, pop and hip-hop, a sound he's already taken to some of the world's biggest stages: Belgium's Tomorrowland and Miami's Ultra Music Festival, to name a couple.
You can check out the dates below; tickets go on sale Thursday 30 August and if Aoki's past appearances at Future Music are anything to go by then these should be some damn fine shows.
