Melbourne's annual fundraiser, The Heart Of St Kilda Concert returns for its eighth year in 2015 and a very impressive lineup of both music and comedy talent have been announced to perform at the event this September.

Taking place at the Palais Theatre on Tuesday, 22 September, hometown indie-rock outfit British India will hit the stage at the Sacred Heart Mission-founded concert just months after wrapping up their own national tour. Concert-goers can expect to hear some of the quartet's biggest hits, including new material from their March-released album, Nothing Touches Me.

Arguably Australia's favourite US comedian Arj Barker who is currently touring the country to perform his latest show, Get In My Head has also been added to the bill. Barker will take a break from his headline shows to entertain fans at this year's fundraiser.

Fans will also be treated to a performance from Aussie music pioneer Col Joye who is this year celebrating 57 years in the industry. Joye was the first Aussie rock'n'roll singer to have a number one record throughout the country with Oh Yeah Uh Huh and he also experienced a string of chart successes in the early Aussie rock scene.
