Will Spice Girls tour Australia in 2024? If Mel C can say anything about it, it’s certainly a possibility.
The revelation came to light when Sporty Spice performed a DJ set at the Heaps Gay Harbour Party in Sydney on Sunday, 19 November. Teasing when she’ll return to Australia, Mel C said she’ll be back really soon and “may have some friends with me” next time.
She teased the possible tour again during a Heaps Gay backstage interview, saying, “I just can’t wait to come back. And as I said on stage… keen to bring the others with me.”
Heaps Gay captioned the teaser post, “Did Mel C secretly announce Spice Girls will be playing heaps gay’s next party?” You can check out the teaser videos below.
In June 2019, Mel B broke our hearts after starting a rumour that the Spice Girls would tour Australia by quickly backtracking her comments.
It started when she said, “We'll see you in February [2020] in Australia” during the group’s performance at Wembley Stadium. In an interview, Mel B commented that what she said on stage was said, “Without everybody else signing off 100 per cent.”

“You know me by now. I always say the Spice Girls are going to continue and continue and tour the whole world,” she continued. “My thing is, and I’ve got a bee in my bonnet about it, is that we need to come to Australia first out the gate. I announced it on stage, yes, without everybody else signing off 100 per cent, but I figured if I put it out there, maybe it’s going to happen.”
When contacted by The Music, tour promoters remained tight-lipped about a potential Spice Girls Australian tour.
Earlier this year, Mel B indicated that the OG five Spice Girls are back together and working on a new project. “It’s about fucking time,” she commented, per Perth Now.
Scary Spice added, “We are doing something together as the Spice Girls, and it has always been me kind of championing everybody together. This time, it was actually Victoria [Beckham] that was saying, ‘Come on, let’s all do something.’
“So, we have got something in the works, which will be announced soon.”
This reformation isn’t a complete surprise, as in May, Mel B told the British publication The Sun that the group were planning something special.
“We're just finishing off perfecting what we're going to be doing together, all five of us, but it's going to be something that the fans are really going to love,” she said.
