Start packing your bags, because triple j has detailed the line up for its upcoming One Night Stand event taking place this May.
Set to take place on May 24th, this year’s One Night Stand will be the station’s second since its long-awaited return last year. As always, it’s a stellar line up of local names, with this year’s edition being led by none other than Perth champions Spacey Jane.
They’ll be joined by powerhouse producer LUUDE, the ever-impressive Ruby Fields, hip hop supergroup 3%, pop outfit Blusher, and psych legends Velvet Trip. But that's not all, because the festival will be completed with the addition of a still-to-be-announced triple j Unearthed winner.
While the One Night Stand was historically a free event, its 2024 edition brought with it the debut of ticket sales. Don’t fret however, because even though tickets go on sale from 5pm AEDT on Thursday, March 27th, they're priced at just $15 (plus booking fee), with all proceeds being donated to charity.
The only question that is left up in the air, however, is just where the festival will actually be located. According to triple j, they’ll be announcing that one later this week.

First launched in 2004, triple j’s One Night Stand began as a way to focus on regional communities and bring big-name bands to those areas. Kicking off Victorian town of Natimuk (population 423 at the time), the event has since gone all around the country, hitting up Port Pirie in SA, Alice Springs in the NT, Dubbo in NSW, Collie in WA, and St Helens in Tasmania – just to name a few.
Having taken a year off in 2015, the event went on hiatus thanks to the advent of the global pandemic, but returned in a big way when it ventured to Warrnambool in Victoria for its largest event to date. That edition featured the likes of G Flip, Ruel, What So Not, Thelma Plum, Syco, and DICE.
Head along to the triple j site to check out all the pertinent details, and stay tuned to the station to work out where exactly you’ll be setting the GPS for this May.
