Australian actress and presenter Sophie Monk leads the cast of the new Zombie Plane film alongside rapper Vanilla Ice and action hero Chuck Norris.
The film, an Australian production from Radioactive and Entertainment Squad, is set to premiere on Thursday, 13 November, in Australia. At the time of publication, no trailer has been unveiled, but it’s set to drop soon.
Zombie Plane was directed by Lav Bodnaruk (The Letter) and Michael Mier (Last King Of The Cross) of Chop Shop Post – a post-production and visual effects house – and was shot locally earlier this year with the support of Screen Australia.
Per a Hollywood Reporter exclusive, the film’s plot revolves around a secret government organisation that recruits celebrities to be undercover agents and save the world from an imminent zombie attack.
Chuck Norris, portraying the mentor Commander Chuck Norris, plays himself alongside Sophie Monk and Vanilla Ice. The soundtrack will reportedly be set in the ‘90s and feature tracks from Vanilla Ice.
According to IMDB and entertainment blog City on Fire, Zombie Plane will be chock-full of celebrity cameos, including rapper and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit star Ice-T, Amy Shark, Brian Austin Green (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Stephen Curry (Clutch: The NBA Playoffs), Bob Geldof, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Ellie Gonsalves (Fighting With My Family), and more. Stay tuned for more details as they arrive.

The Wiggles were rumoured to be attached to the project last year – speculation that was put to rest when management reportedly deemed Zombie Plane too “off-brand” for the children’s entertainment group.
A source close to The Wiggles said, “It is very tongue-in-cheek, and the boys were flattered to be asked, but sadly, the chance to see ‘the originals’ back together again has been dashed.
“They loved the script and the idea that was created for them, and it would have been exciting to get the band back together, but the project just didn’t sit right with everyone from the children’s entertainment group’s management.”
