The Superjesus legend is off for an extended sojourn around the country this October and November
Sarah McLeod
Venerated Aussie singer-songwriter Sarah McLeod has added a string of regional dates to her upcoming national tour for this October and November, taking her wider sojourn to about the 20-date mark including her metro stops later this month.
Once she woos the capital cities, the Superjesus frontwoman will take her tour — which comes in support of forthcoming solo effort Rocky's Diner — to the Sunshine Coast's Sol Bar on Thursday 5 October for the first show of the regional leg.
From there, she'll play her way through Toowoomba, the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Newcastle, Katoomba, Miranda, Frankston, Belgrave, Ballarat, Hobart and Launceston over the ensuing month.
The shows will be a prime opportunity for fans to hear the songs of Rocky's Diner in the flesh, including anthemic recent single Giants, the funky animated clip for which you can check out below.

McLeod created the album — her first solo record in 12 years and the long-awaited follow-up to 2005 debut Beauty Was A Tiger — during a three-month writing blitz in New York, where she based herself in Brooklyn and hunkered down to do some serious work.
"I took my whole studio set up in a Samsonite hard case," she said in a statement. "There was zero room for clothes except for what I was wearing; I figured I'd buy more clothes when I got there.
"I wasn't planning on going anywhere so I didn't need much; the lack of party attire would hopefully eliminate any temptation to party. I was here to work."
With the ARIA-winning songstress back on local shores — and Rocky's Diner set for release via Kobalt on Friday 18 August, the same day she starts the first leg of her tour in Adelaide — there's not long to go now until we get to hear the fruits of her labours in all their glory.
Pre-orders for the album are available now, as are tickets for all shows on the tour.
