"We wanted to do something that wasn’t just loud — but meaningful,” explains Sarah McLeod.

"Sarah McLeod is a rock legend who represents the very best of what we need to see reflected," said Australian Women In Music founder Vicki Gordon.

"We are pumped to present these never-before-heard covers and join the celebrations of the Australian leg of Taylor Swift’s iconic tour."

The changes to Sarah McLeod's tour schedule are due to personal reasons.

"It'd be amazing to see more females on festival lineups because they are still very much sausage fests, which gives me the sh*ts."

The 2023 Australian Women In Music Awards occur in Brisbane on Tuesday, 26 and Wednesday, 27 September.

"This tour will be the best of both worlds, two sets of completely different styles."

And it's not that far away.

"A live experience never to forget.”

'I want people to feel empowered wearing these shirts.'
