Tune in for a live webinar tonight

Individuals considering a career in the creative industries will be keen to hear about the new postgraduate program at the SAE Creative Media Institute commencing from this May.

SAE's Master Of Creative Industries course is the first of its kind for the college's Australian offerings, and encompasses nested Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate qualifications.

"We're so excited to be adding the Master of Creative Industries to SAE Australia’s course offerings," SAE's general manager, southern hemisphere, Lee Aitken, said in a statement. "The creative industries have become a significant sector of the global economy.

"It is now increasingly more common for entrepreneurs and marketers to form start-up businesses in the sector, and for other businesses to rely further on creative industry professionals."

The program offers a suite of more than 45 discipline-specific electives, allowing students a broad degree of flexibility in shaping the Master's program they wish to pursue for their individual needs with the support and guidance of highly skilled and qualified program co-ordinators to help attendees reach their maximum creative and professional potential.

The Master Of Creative Industries is delivered online and includes a choice of six-week-long elective courses across the fields of Audio, Film, Games and Design, combined with non-discipline-specific subjects to further bolster students' knowledge and experience with practical benefits and outcomes, program head and SAE's dean, southern hemisphere, Dr Luke McMillan, said.

"The SAE Master's program has been developed with the intention to get people ready for tomorrow’s jobs," he said. "SAE's Master's lecturers consist of a team of creative industry thought-leaders and education professionals."

The course is FEE HELP-eligible, and students are able to study full-time over four trimesters or part-time to accommodate their work situation.

Interested parties should make time for a live webinar being held tonight, 11 April, from 8pm AEST. Registration is available now.
