Indie favourites Two Door Cinema Club are returning to Australia this November, and they have some surprises up their sleeves.

Set to be joined by special guests The Vaccines, both bands will be commemorating the anniversaries of their seminal debut albums. Two Door Cinema Club will perform their acclaimed debut album, Tourist History, while The Vaccines will bring What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? to the stage. Both bands will also draw from other favourites across their careers.

Released in 2010, Two Door Cinema Club’s debut album launched the Northern Irish band into the spotlight with hits such as What You Know, Something Good Can Work, and Undercover Martyn. A year later, the band’s English peers burst out of London with What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?. The high-energy LP features classics like If You Wanna, Post Break-Up Sex, and Wetsuit.

Now, fifteen years after both bands stole Australian fans’ hearts, they’re revisiting the beloved tracks that began a long-standing love affair with listeners Down Under.

The tour begins at Perth HPC on Sunday, 15 November. It continues at Adelaide’s AEC Theatre on Wednesday, 18 November, Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Friday, 20 November, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday, 21 November, and concludes at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Wednesday, 25 November.

Pre-sale tickets will be available on Wednesday, 25 March, at 9 am local time – register here for access – followed by the general sale on Friday, 27 March, at 9 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Destroy All Lines website.

“We have some incredible memories of time spent in Oz and NZ, and we can’t wait to get back for some really big shows,” Two Door Cinema Club said. “I don’t know what it is about the southern hemisphere, but you guys just know how it’s done.”

The Vaccines added, “Touring Australia in the summer feels more like a holiday than a job, so naturally we’re extremely excited to return and celebrate everything our first album has given us with our old friends, Two Door Cinema Club!”

Two Door Cinema Club last visited Australia in December 2024. The tour included a stop at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, making for an unmissable moment as the band performed Tourist History in its entirety (albeit not in order).

Upon its release, Tourist History won the prestigious Choice Music Prize for the 2010 Irish Album of the Year.
