Paul Dempsey Announces 2026 ‘Shotgun Karaoke Vol. II’ Regional Tour

“I had a blast on the Shotgun Karaoke tour last year, but it wasn’t long enough,” Dempsey said.

After bringing his Shotgun Karaoke Vol. II tour to metro cities across the country in October and November, Paul Dempsey is taking the show on the road again this year.

This time, the Something For Kate frontman and renowned solo artist is touring regionally. From May to August, he’ll make stops in Frankston, Castlemaine, Forth, Hobart, Barwon Heads, Warrnambool, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Fremantle, Margaret River, Meeniyan, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Canberra, Thirroul, Cairns, Townsville, Gosford, and Coffs Harbour.

“I had a blast on the Shotgun Karaoke tour last year, but it wasn’t long enough,” Dempsey commented in a statement. “I can’t wait to get out for the extended version and play all over the country. The atmosphere at these shows has been ridiculously fun!”

Dempsey’s Shotgun Karaoke shows are packed with irresistible sing-along moments. Packed with classic tunes you know and love, Dempsey effortlessly puts his own spin on tracks by Don Henley, R.E.M., Cher, Wilco, Tanita Tikaram, Jeff Buckley, Concrete Blonde, David Bowie, Max Q, and many others.

For the upcoming shows, Dempsey will be joined by special guest Kaitlin Keegan, a Melbourne-based, Perth-born singer-songwriter.

Dempsey returned with Shotgun Karaoke Vol. II in October, twelve years after the release of the original, classic Shotgun Karaoke. For the album, he challenged himself to sing each track in its original key and perform songs he loves.

Like its predecessor, the sequel album arrived during a transitional period – this time between the Fanning Dempsey National Park project with Bernard Fanning, and work on a new Something For Kate album.
