Remember Tinder's Festival Mode? They're Launching It In Australia At Splendour 2019

"Splendour is a rite of passage for young Australians, making it the perfect playground to launch Festival Mode."

Earlier this month Tinder announced it would be launching "Festival Mode" with the aim of finding that special someone in the mosh pit.

Now, the dating app has confirmed it will launch the feature in Australia at July's Splendour In The Grass festival

“Splendour is a rite of passage for young Australians, making it the perfect playground to launch Festival Mode," Country Manager of Tinder Australia Kristen Hardeman said.

"With this feature, we are redefining the festival experience by enabling our users to make new connections before even stepping through the turnstiles and pitching their tents.

"We’re pumped to be partnering with Splendour in the Grass and are excited to see how Tinder’s new feature helps people find their crowd this winter."

Tinder users heading to Byron Bay can simply add the Splendour badge to their profile and start matching with fellow festivalgoers before Festival Mode officially rolls out across Australia on 21 June.

Godspeed, Tinder users. And for the love of the music gods, please be safe.
