Record Store Day 2021 saw some incredible new albums, classic re-releases and special edition albums hit shelves around the world this year. However, some of the more desired vinyls are hitting the Internet with a ridiculous price slapped on. Have a peek at some of the worst offenders.

If anyone had 'vinyl record of songs from an Aussie kids show hitting a triple figure price tag online' on their 2021 bingo card, get ready to pull out the marker.

After it was announced that beloved Aus TV hit Bluey would be amongst the special releases for Record Store Day 2021, fans were quick to snatch up the limited edition picture disc vinyl. So much so that the record is now being listed on music aggregate and sales portal Discogs for a whopping $390.

However, the hike on our little canine friend doesn't even begin to scratch the surface when it comes to RSD 2021. Around the globe, the more sought after and collectible pieces have started to pop up with insane markups.

Take the new Gorillaz retrospective, which features the entire back catalogue of albums from the band's 20+ years of making music: that's hit the web with a staggering wallet breaker of over $1300. Admittedly, there are copies available closer to home, but they still come in at a minimum of $500.

The same goes for the disco-laden side hustle from Foo Fighters. Their Dee Gees record, Hail Satin, is being hocked for four figures as we speak.

If you're after No Gods No Masters, the new LP from the Shirley Manson-fronted Garbage, that's also going to be costing you over a grand all up.
Or what about the iconic early '00s tunes of Russian pop duet t.A.T.u? If you're really craving that vinyl sound crackling over their seminal 2002 release 200 Km/h In The Wrong Lane, you'll have to shell out an absolutely bonkers $1,540 AUD.

But the winner for most expensive RSD 2021 drop, by an absolute country mile, goes to Ariana Grande

Her special three-LP release, K Bye For Now, is currently being listed at nearly twice that of any other release for this year. So, if you happen to find yourself with $3,222 extra spending money just lying about, this might be for you.

No thank u, next.
