You win again, Keith Urban
It's hard to believe it has happened once again but for the sixth time in a row, Radiohead are set to peak at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart, this time debuting in that position with their stealth release of A Moon Shaped Pool.
Radiohead were beaten to the top spot by local country rock posterboy Keith Urban with his newest, Ripcord - his second #1 debut in a row following 2013's Fuse. Former number one albums from Beyonce, Adele and Drake stick around to fill out the rest of the top five.
Kate Ceberano safely slid into a top #10 debut with Anthology at #9 — making it the week's highest local debut. Other debuts this week include Skepta at #13 with Konnichiwa, Splendour In The Grass 2016 act James Blake with The Colour In Everything at #16, Travis Collins at #20 with Hard Light, Kaytranada at #21 with 99.9%, Black Veil Brides' Andy Black at #23 with The Shadow Side, Cyndi Lauper at #26 with Detour, local rock stalwarts The Screaming Jets at #30 with Chrome, Anohni at #35 with Hopelessness and Tourist with U at #39.
The debuts drop off from there with American country singer Cole Swindell in at #52 with You Should Be Here, Goo Goo Dolls' Boxes at #78, We Will Rock You Cast Recording at #79 and finally Mike Posner's At Night, Alone landing at #93.
