Frontman recovering from dislocated shoulder
Reformed post-hardcore experimenters Daughters have postponed their Australian tour – due to start this week in Brisbane – after their frontman recovers from a dislocated shoulder.
Promoters Collateral Manage have today issued a statement, saying that new dates will be announced within two weeks.
“This has come about (you may recall) as Lex [Alexis Marshall] (vocalist of Daughters) in the reunion shows a few months ago, dislocated his shoulder – again! It's imperative that Lex takes time off now over the Australian Summer, to have surgery, and recover. The timing of the Australian tour, and the surgery dates didn't work out in anyone's favour. We have been waiting on surgery dates for weeks now, and this has only just come to light.”
They add, “At the moment, we ask you wait on the re-announcement, (within 2 weeks max) – to see if newer dates suit. All tickets will then remaining Valid for the new shows. If you will end up requiring a refund after the Tour is announced, we will be able to arrange.”
