Some huge names have joined the lineup for a stellar run of shows set to take place at St Kilda’s Palace Foreshore this February and March.
Situated on the historic St Kilda Triangle, directly adjacent to St Kilda’s iconic Palais Theatre, the Palace Foreshore is set to return in 2025 to present a curated series of international and local artists across high summer.
Already, a massive list of names – including Fontaines D.C., Denzel Curry, Magdalena Bay, and The Kooks – have been announced for the event, with US DJ Honey Dijon also joining the bill today.
Running from February 27th until March 16th, the three-week affair sees the outdoor venue playing host to a curated lineup of international and local artists, one-day festivals, and special performances.
Aiming to transform the St Kilda Triangle into a music-lovers playground, the Palace Foreshore is also set to return in 2026 as an annual program.
Beyond the stacked early 2025 lineup, programmers have also revealed that there will be more to come and that plans are in place for the venue to return as an annual fixture on Australia’s live music calendar, further cementing St Kilda’s status as the historic heart of live music in Melbourne.

The eclectic list of gigs is the product of a roster put together by Jay Rayner and Thomas Supple, who first met as part of the founding curatorial team that delivered Dark Mofo (MONA), and have since worked together on the likes of RISING, Perth Festival, Melbourne Festival, and Shadow Electric.
“We’ve been lucky to convince some of the world's hottest bands right now to fly in and play their headline shows with us,” says Rayner. “Really, St Kilda does a lot of the work for us. We just send them photos of sunsets, crowds and the epic venue location, and they’re super keen to come out.
“The support from both the City of Port Phillip as well as the local institutions Luna Park, Palais, St Kilda Sea Baths and Stoke House has been exceptional. We are looking forward to the three week long program cementing itself as an annual highlight in Melbourne’s superb cultural calendar.”
"After curating festivals and programs all over the country it's a real homecoming working on the Palace Foreshore,” adds Supple. “As a card-carrying supporter of the St Kilda Football Club, and with strong memories of my Grandmother's house in Elwood, I've got a real affinity with the beachside suburb, and it lives large in my memory as the place where I had some of my earliest and most formative live music and nightclub experiences."
