'The Records Were Ours' is actually the first in an upcoming trilogy of releases for the Victorian two-piece
Renowned Melbourne folk-pop duo Pierce Brothers have scheduled a five-date east-coast tour in support of freshly announced EP The Records Were Ours.
Due for release this May, the boys' tour coincides with the new work's arrival and kicks off in Sydney, at Metro Lair, on Thursday 18 May. From there, they head through Lorne, Canberra and Melbourne on the way to their last show just over a week later at the Sunshine Coast's Big Pineapple Festival.
The forthcoming EP is actually the first in a trilogy, set to be preceded by new single Take Me Out, which is due for release on 21 April, the same day that pre-orders go live. The Records Were Ours itself will be released on 19 May.
Following their east-coast jaunt, Pierce Brothers will be heading overseas to please audiences in Europe, the UK and North America on a massive tour that keeps them away till the end of October.

Don't fret too hard if you can't make the immediate local run though, as there are more yet-to-be-announced Aussie shows when they return to the country.
