Phil Collins Set To Climb Aussie Music Charts As 'Not Dead Yet' Tour Continues

He's only three shows into the Australian leg of his Not Dead Yet tour but clearly his fans Down Under are very, very keen on Phil Collins right now.

As midweek figures show, the UK legend's The Singles compilation is set to climb almost 30 spots up the ARIA Albums chart and land inside the top ten, after placing at #48 last week. 

The 2016-released record peaked at #6 on the chart and it could very well top that come this Saturday. .

Collins will perform for a third time in Sydney tonight, before moving on to play in Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne over the next two weeks; check out our reviews of his Brisbane and Sydney shows. 


Other album debuts this week include Maggie Rogers' Heard It In A Past Life (top ten), Cub Sport's self-titled third LP (top 15), James Blake's Assume Form, Papa Roach's Who Do You Trust?, Future's THE WIZRD (all top 20), Dodie's Human (top 30) and Sharon Van Etten's Remind Me Tomorrow (top 50).

Meanwhile on the Singles chart, Ariana Grande will look to return to top spot with her new track, 7 Rings, after dominating the list in recent times with thank u, next.

The US pop star's latest hit will challenge for top spot against Post Malone and Swae Lee's Sunflower, gunning for four straight weeks at #1, and should at least debut in the top three. 

Expect to also see Sydney's own Dean Lewis crack the top 20 with 7 Minutes, while The Chainsmokers' Hope, featuring Winona Oak and 5 Seconds Of Summer's Lie To Me should debut in the top 50.
