Party In The Paddock will return in 2025, festival organisers have confirmed. The event will be held for its 12th year, and “rest assured, it's here to stay”.
Referencing the “ongoing uncertainty” surrounding the music festival sector—if you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you know how many events have been cancelled in recent times—it’s comforting to know that one of Australia’s biggest music festivals “will be going full steam ahead”.
The 2025 edition of Party In The Paddock returns to Quercus Park—15 minutes from Launceston—on 6-9 February.
“It’s the most important time in our history, after running this event as a locally owned and operated business for the last twelve years, that we receive more support from the state government,” Festival Director Jesse Higgs commented in a press release after highlighting the “importance” of events like Party In The Paddock to contributing to Tasmania’s vibrant culture.
The Party In The Paddock team are working on securing more government funding for the festival, as “this will be vital for our future as Tasmania’s leading Music and Arts festival.”
Higgs continued, “It’s additionally important for us to say that we have so much gratitude towards our ‘Paddock’ people that return most years—this year especially, it’s really important that everyone makes the effort to support local events.

“In this next chapter, we’re here to make PITP as synonymous with Tassie as ‘The Jack Jumpers’ or the coming ‘Tassie Devils’ AFL team. We believe that Music and Art are and should be valued just as much as sports. Tassie, this event is for you; let's lock in another decade.”
In addition to confirming the festival’s return, Party In The Paddock will soon allow punters to access Early Bird Tickets for next year’s event at the lowest possible price.
Understanding that punters might struggle to pay for tickets upfront, festival organisers will offer Hardship Tickets and Zipay instalments. Costs can be spread out starting at a minimum of $10 per week—sign up here to register your interest.
The 2024 edition of Party In The Paddock boasted international heavyweights such as Rudimental (UK), Milky Chance (EU), The Darkness (UK), K.FLAY (USA) alongside local stars, including Lime Cordiale, Tash Sultana, Ruel, Luca Brasi, Wildfire Manwurrk, Royel Otis, G Flip, Ball Park Music, Holy Holy, The Buoys, San Cisco, Jack River, and many more.
