'Domestic Eccentric' will be on show
Juno-winning Canadian folkster Old Man Luedecke has announced he'll be leaving his log cabin in the woods of Nova Scotia, Canada this May to head on down to Australia with his new album in tow.
The banjo-toting Chris Luedecke recently recorded Domestic Eccentric in the depths of snowy Canada, shacked up in a cabin made of rough-sawn lumber and calling on Grammy-winning roots muso Tim O'Brien to collaborate with him. Luedecke says of the process, "Working with [Tim] in a duet environment in a cabin at home was a waking dream."
Old Man Luedecke will kick off his Australian tour at Woodford Planting Festival from April 29 to May 1, before heading to Upwey and Melbourne in Victoria, Sheffield and Margate in Tassie, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong and Katoomba in NSW and Canberra.
