Ocean Grove are feeling a little nostalgic, plotting a new national tour which sees them celebrating the tenth anniversary of their Black Label EP, as they perform it in full alongside new album Oddworld.
Kicking off at Brisbane's Valley Loft on May 23rd, the tour will see the Victorian outfit visiting Sydney's Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne's 170 Russell before wrapping it up at Adelaide's Jive Bar on May 30th.
The tour is in anniversary of the group's second EP, Black Label, which was released in June 2015 and managed to crack the ARIA top 50. A stellar collection of tracks that helped put the group on the map, returning to the record is an indicator of just how far the group have come in the past decade.
To further drive that point home, they’ll also be taking a look into the more recent past, playing Black Label full alongside their 2024 album, Oddworld. Their fourth record, and first to be released by SharpTone after three albums on the UNFD label, it still captures the raw intensity of what made Ocean Grove a vital force on the local scene all those years ago.
“Join us in celebrating a huge part of OG history alongside the ODDWORLD of the future,” the group urged fans.
The newly-announced tour will also see Ocean Grove joined by Diamond Construct and DREGG at all dates, ensuring that it will be a night fans won’t soon forget.
