The singer made a brief appearance on stage and missed a meet and greet
American R&B singer Ciara has come under fire from fans in New Zealand, after the singer apparently performed for less than ten minutes at her headline show in Christchurch yesterday.
According to News Corp, the artist, whose hits include Goodies, 1, 2 Step and Love Sex Magic, took the stage at ILAM Fields, Canterbury University just prior to 11pm, which is when a noise curfew comes into effect. She was allegedly slated to begin her performance at 9:30pm.
Ciara, who is about to embark on an Aussie tour, also didn't show up to a scheduled meet and greet with fans, which tickets cost $125 for.
The singer took to Twitter after the event, blaming technical difficulties for her short performance, which did not impress a number of her followers.

The article quoted a spokesman for Australian touring agency Ginnen Group, Matty Peilua, who said they were just as disappointed as fans over the event and said: "we are also happy to negotiate part refunds for other ticketholders." Meet and greet ticketholders would be fully refunded.
"Please be assured that we did everything we could from our end to try [to] make the show still go on. We are not going to blame anyone or any one thing, we will simply say that we are as disappointed as everyone else."
Ciara is playing shows around Australia this weekend and throughout next week. Check theGuide and The Music App for more.
