"Look forward to annoying you for 3 more nights."
Crowded House frontman Neil Finn has engaged in a Twitter spat this morning, following the band's first of four shows at the Sydney Opera House last night.
The acclaimed singer was targeted by one Twitter user who accused Finn of slamming radio jock Alan Jones over the city's lockout laws during the show, in which he allegedly said ‘Let’s wake up Alan Jones’, who lives right by the Sydney Opera House in the string of residencies known as ‘The Toaster’.
"Get your facts right Alan Jones fought to get rid of lock out laws. You dickhead," the tweet to Finn reads, to which the musician responded, "Alan Jones is trying to stop concerts at the Opera House forecourt along with other Toaster residents you twat".

The heckler revealed that they too live in the same residencies near the iconic venue.
"Ah, you live in the Toaster," Finn tweeted.
"Look forward to annoying you for 3 more nights.
"Actually I imagine some of the nearby residents to the SOH might be enjoying the music and I wish them well."

The exchange comes just two days after Crowded House were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame — check out all the action from the 2016 ARIA Awards here.
