Close the distance.

Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) have come up with a new way to connect artists and audiences during the coronavirus shutdowns.

Dubbed #DistanceBetweenUs, the program allows companies to pipe live music, spoken word, visual and performance arts to their workforces via Zoom meetings as a way to combat isolation and anxiety.

As long as work drinks are of the table, this could be a unique way to keep people connected and motivated, and a much-needed break in the seclusion a lot of Australian workers are experiencing right now.

It's also an excellent source of revenue while for artists that are looking at an extended period blocked of from their usual performance spaces and opportunities.

There are currently 50 local artists working with MVA on the program.
