The fledgling Brissy-bred event will now span two days next March

Brisbane-born, swiftly expanding boutique guitar-rock festival Mojo Burning has pulled out all the stops for its second line-up announcement, not only revealing the next batch of names to join previously announced drawcards such as Gay Paris, Redcoats, Claude Hay & The Gentle Enemies and many more, but adding another day of festivities and their own beer to the mix.

The fledgling celebration of all things blues/roots/stoner/rock, to be held at the New Globe Theatre, will now stretch from Saturday, March 21, to Sunday, March 22, with the newly announced day providing the event with heaps of time to fit in performances from not only the existing acts on its now-27-strong line-up but fresh additions such as The Good ShipDead WolvesJunior DangerBare White KnucklesGreg McHugh and interstate interlopers Rat Ta'Mango (SA) and Narla (NSW).

The second day's bill, which will be comprised of the newly named acts above, is available as a free-entry option for Saturday ticket-holders. There are another five acts yet to be announced to round out the first day's proceedings, so stay tuned to see what final form Mojo Burning takes in early December.

Naturally, it's thirsty work taking in so many bands in the space of a couple of days, so the folks behind Mojo Burning have whipped up their own locally produced craft brew, Mojo Premium, which gets launched tomorrow, November 13, at the New Globe's The Blues. Used. Abused exhibit. Entry is free, and boasts sets from festival attractions The Royal Artillery as well as Brodie GrahamDeadweight Express and others.
