The kraut-pop duo have unveiled new single 'Steady On' for good measure.
Sydney kraut-pop two-piece MEZKO will release their debut EP, Polychronic, next month, announcing their signing to revered local label Inertia Music ahead of its landing.
"Needless to say, we’re quite happy about this," members Kat Harley and Laura Bailey told The Music. "Inertia has one of the best rosters in Australia and we’re thrilled to be joining it."
They're not wrong in that assessment; the new deal will see them joining Inertia's cabal of excellence that includes the likes of Ali Barter, Alvvays, Angel Olsen, Bec Sandridge, Big Scary, Bleeding Knees Club, The Delta Riggs, Hockey Dad, Japanese Wallpaper, Sia, Spit Syndicate, Tigertown and heaps more locals as well as international artists.
The duo are preceding the EP's upcoming release by unveiling their newly re-released pulsating, darkly danceable single, Steady On, which originally dropped back in 2015.

Standing at the precipice of depression, the song casts its eye towards "the moment when you're out of it and trying to hold on to the exit", the pair said in a statement. "You're steady because you're back."
"These phases are super important to appreciate the positive moments and accept that it happens; this is not the last time — see you again, dark side."
The five-track Polychronic will make its debut on Friday 27 October, and includes not only the new cut but previous, well-received singles Trust and Everyone among its ranks.
Give it a listen below, mark your calendars for next month to hear the whole EP in all its glory, and connect with MEZKO on Facebook to stay on top of what they're up to next, because by all accounts, they're in for some big things.
