Melbourne's CBD has just scored a brand new cultural hub and to celebrate they've announced a stack of live gigs in its opening weeks.
ELLA brings together restaurants, art and live music and can be found right at Melbourne Central where Elizabeth and La Trobe Streets meet.
"We know Melburnians love food, but we’re also mad about music and art, we’re pretty innovative when it comes to technology and we enjoy continued opportunities to learn," shares Development Manager Stuart MacLeod-Smith. "We’re planning to tap into these elements to elevate and enhance the ELLA experience."
"We want the space to be an intimate place for residents and visitors to meet and enjoy Melbourne life away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD streets, while still being surrounded by the attributes that make this city so fantastic."
The precinct officially opens on Monday 27 May, with local artist Josh Cashman performing from 5.30pm, with gigs from Jess Locke, Dan Parsons, Phia, Al Parkinson, Bec Sandridge and Ferla all locked in for the coming weeks.
While the first stage of the space opens next week, which includes a co-working space and restaurants including Son In Law and Ajisen Ramen, there are already plans for additional stages to be opened soon.
