"...I can promise you George will be back bigger and better..."
A man has been arrested for the destruction of a mural of singer George Michael in Sydney's inner west.
As reported by the ABC, New South Wales police issued a 23-year-old man with a court attendance notice over a charge of graffiti on Sunday afternoon.
The mural was painted by local artist Scott Marsh, who has recently been in the spotlight for the creation and subsequent destruction of his mural of former Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Cardinal George Pell.
The destruction of the Saint George mural comes just days after vandalisation of The Happy Ending mural, featuring Abbott and Pell.

The vandal was caught on film at the site of the Saint George mural in the Sydney suburb of Erskineville, saying "I'm defending my religion."
The man is slated to face Sydney's Downing Centre local court in December.
Marsh has been quick to say that "…I can promise you George will be back bigger and better…" via a post on his Instagram account.
