Much adored charity AFL series the Reclink Community Cup is returning to Brisbane for the sixth time as a part of the national Cup Tour, taking place on Sunday the 31st of July at the Everton Wolves JAFC ground in Enoggera Memorial Park.

Ready to set the game alight is evergreen indie rock stalwarts Screamfeeder, guitar driven popsters BUGS and alt-rockers Platonic Sex all providing the perfect soundtrack to this rocking charity event.

Raising awareness and funds for the organisation are an array of Brisbane bands and musicians who have swapped their normal gear for footy shorts as The Rocking Horses. It includes members of prominent acts including Powderfinger/The Church, Dead Letter Circus, WAAX, CLEA, Shag Rock, Melaleuca, Whalehouse, Full Power Happy Hour, Tape/Off, Flangipanis and many more.

They'll be coming up against their arch rivals Brisbane Lines which is an ensemble of legends from 4ZZZ, ABC Radio staff as well as other industry professionals from Dew Process, Oztix, QMusic, Media Arts Lawyers, The Princess Theatre and more.

The theme this year is Let Love Rule, in honour of distinguished singer songwriter Archie Roach AM and his extraordinary and enduring musical and charitable contributions over the decades. The title is taken from both Archie’s seventh studio album and its title track.
