"I'm not going to be performing in Australia, so to anyone who was anticipating seeing me I'm sorry."
A whole heap of news around the Listen Out line up has gone down today.
International rap superstar Polo G has taken to his Instagram story to reveal that he will not be performing in Australia.
The rapper was set to tour Australia across the Listen Out Tour, as well as two headline shows in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre and Melbourne at The Forum.
He posted a blank story which read, "I'm not going to be performing in Australia, so to anyone who was anticipating seeing me I'm sorry."
Listen Out quickly responded to the story, swiftly posting saying that, "Last night Polo G posted on Instagram saying that he's cancelling his Australian tour.
"Everyone at Listen Out and Frontier Touring are pulling out all stops to sort this out fast and we'll have an update for you very soon."

The bittersweet news is that Listen Out have just revealed that one of the most highly hyped rap artists JID will be joining the festival circuit. One of the finest wordsmiths in hip-hop, the rapper has just released his sophomore and critically acclaimed record The Forever Story.
The festival will tour around Australian in September and October, kicking things off in Melbourne on the 23rd of September, then followed by Perth on the 25th of September, before wrapping up in Sydney and Brisbane on the 1st and 2nd of October respectively.
In May of this year, the originally announced headliner Young Thug had been arrested on gang related charges. He was then replaced by Trippie Redd and Roddy Ricch.
“With Young Thug’s legal troubles in the US likely to continue into next year, Listen Out have made the decision (and hustled like hell) to replace him with TWO of this generation’s most essential hip hop artists,” read a statement following the replacement.
Young Thug, real name Jeffery Williams, had been arrested alongside 27 other people, including rapper Gunna.
He was arrested at his Atlanta home on suspicion of gang involvement over an alleged 2018 incident, and conspiracy to violate the state Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act (RICO) over an alleged 2013 incident.
It was also alleged that Young Thug rented a vehicle in 2014 that was later used in connection with the murder of a rival gang member.
