Just days after sharing more details about the highly anticipated Hellbound metal cruise, tour promoters Destroy All Lines have revealed when the line-up will drop.
The full artist line-up for the Hellbound Cruise will be announced on Wednesday, 30 April. After asking fans who they hope to see on the inaugural metal cruise in Australia, punters came back with numerous calls, with the ocean-related bands (and songs) making for something fun.
One punter requested Ocean Sleeper, Ocean Grove, and Oceans Ate Alaska. Parkway Drive and The Amity Affliction are also popular calls throughout the comment section, as are Windwaker and Northlane. In terms of international acts, it’s difficult to argue against this comment: “Stone Sour/Slipknot, and Corey [Taylor] has to sing SpongeBob.”
Earlier this week, it was announced that Carnival Splendor will be the host ship for the Hellbound cruise.
Carnival Splendor is made of 13,000 tonnes of steel and sound. The cruise will host 2,500 punters, while the boat itself will contain 14 decks of non-stop madness, with the main stage located on the top deck so punters can “mosh under the stars.”

Punters will also be able to access 24 lounges and bars and enjoy seven hot tubs, mini golf, water slides, and more – all of which have been revealed before the line-up drops.

The inaugural Hellbound cruise was announced earlier this month.
“Something HEAVY is coming. Where Metal Meets the Sea,” the caption for the first teaser said. Hellbound will sail from Darling Harbour, Sydney, from Thursday, 22 October, to Sunday, 25 October, in 2026.
Destroy All Lines is best known for promoting festivals such as Good Things and Knotfest, as well as bringing metal, punk, and other alternative tours to Australia.
For the Hellbound cruise, however, the promoters have teamed up with Rock The Boat and Choose Your Cruise, the latter an Australian-owned and operated company that has been presenting floating festivals to punters since 2009.
