RTRFM's In The Pines Festival is quickly approaching. With April 13's lineup locked in, these West Australian acts are ready to showcase their homegrown talent at UWA’s Somerville Auditorium this Sunday.

In The Pines is an annual fundraising event. Proceeds support the station’s operations and commitment to the local music scene.  

With 2025’s lineup packed with up-and-coming artists, Pines is the ultimate snapshot of WA music, year in and year out, showcasing the best in established and emerging local acts.

  • All money raised goes towards RTRFM's operating costs.

  • No BYO Alcohol. The festival has a reasonably priced bar on site.

  • BYO Food. You can bring a picnic blanket, but the event will host food trucks on site.

  • Camping chairs and picnic rugs are allowed.

  • The festival is a strictly no-smoking environment.

  • UWA has changed the surface of the main space at the Somerville Auditorium from a soft mulch to a harder pebble. If you plan on sitting down / having a picnic, punters are encouraged to bring extra cushions.

  • No dogs allowed.
