Holy Holy Announce Aus Tour Ahead Of Debut Album Release

Indie-rockers hit the road this August.

More Holy Holy Holy Holy

Aussie indie-rockers Holy Holy have today announced they will be travelling through Australia for a national tour this August and September.

The announcement comes just a month out from the release of the band's debut album, When The Storms Would Come and the 16-date tour will kick off on Thursday, 13 August at the Darwin Festival.

Speaking about the upcoming album, lead vocalist Tim Carroll said the band have been able to find a sound that suits them after performing for over two years.

"We've played a lot of shows in the last two years and have played with some of our favourite bands and in some incredible venues along the way...During that time we have come up with a sound that represents us, a sound we're proud of and a style of music that we love to play," Carroll said.

"With our debut record now complete and having just played a run of shows overseas, our homecoming album release tour is something we're really looking forward to."

The tour will see Holy Holy perform headline shows throughout all of the country's major cities and they will be supported by three local acts.

Five-piece punk band Fractures will join the band in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Canberra and New South Wales, while indie-pop act Methyl Ethel will open in Western Australia and indie band Violet Swells will act as the supporting band in Tasmania.

Tickets to the When The Storms Would Come tour are available now — for more information, head to theGuide or The Music App.
