Have you wanted to see one of Naarm/Melbourne’s most exciting musical exports in an intimate front bar for the wallet-friendly price of absolutely nothing? That’s exactly what Gut Health are giving hometown fans over the next few weeks.
Kicking off on Sunday, February 16th, Gut Health will be launching a three-week residency of intimate front bar shows across Melbourne, with all shows being free entry for eager punters.
The first of these gigs takes place at The Curtin from 3:30pm on February 16th, with Public Figures joining the festivities as a special guest. Be warned though, it’s going to be a high-profile affair, so be sure to get in early to secure your spot.
The best part of this newly-announced residency is that the upcoming shows won’t be detailed until just a few days beforehand. While we do know they’ll take place on February 23rd and March 2nd, the venues and special guests are currently under wraps. (Though if you take a look at the poster, you might be able to fill in the blanks yourself.)

Gut Health are currently riding high off an absolutely banner year which has seen them go from strength to strength. Launching only a few years ago, the eclectic dance punk outfit have been rubbing shoulders with the greats from almost day one.
Alongside gigs with the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Pond, The Black Lips, Mudhoney, RVG, Body Type, and more, they recently wrapped up a national tour with the iconic Primal Scream.
Only a few months ago the band unveiled their eagerly-anticipated debut album Stiletto, which has received widespread critical acclaim, and was even included on TheMusic’s list of best Australian albums of 2024.
If you're not in Melbourne and want to see Gut Health performing live sooner rather than later, they'll be heading north to Brisbane on April 12th for one of The Brightside's SILO shows. The stellar lineup will also see them performing alongside fellow Victorians Delivery, plus The Empty Threats, Sleepazoid, and Special Features. Tickets are on sale now.
