Green Day, Weezer & Fall Out Boy’s Australian Tour Has Been Cancelled

US rockers Green Day have confirmed that the Australian leg of the Hella Mega Tour has been cancelled.

The stadium tour was scheduled to take place in November across Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane with Weezer, Fall Out Boy and New Zealand’s The Beths in tow

"Australia and New Zealand, we’re beyond bummed to announce that the upcoming Hella Mega dates in November have been cancelled,” Green Day said.

“We kept trying to put this piece of the puzzle together, but unfortunately it’s just not possible due to the uncertainty of the government COVID-19 travel restrictions, mass gatherings and most importantly for the safety of our fans, crew and staff.

“We love you all and we’ll be back there rocking with you at some point. Until then, stay safe."
