"Venues, artists, promoters, roadies and communities have told us how excited they are to host one or more Great Southern Nights gigs."
If you thought a month-long 1,000 COVID safe gig festival couldn't get any bigger, Great Southern Nights has you covered.
The major event, which is a NSW Government initiative in partnership with ARIA, has confirmed ten more big names for the line-up which will see 1,000 gigs take place across the state this November.
Joining the bill today includes Lime Cordiale, Phil Jamieson & Pat Davern, Ash Grunwald, Kim Churchill, Merci, Mercy, Shane Nicholson, Shannon Noll, Sycco, Tumbleweed and Wendy Matthews.
They join a line-up that already boasts the likes of Jimmy Barnes, Tones & I, AB Original, Kasey Chambers, Tash Sultana, Missy Higgins, Amy Shark, The Presets, Thelma Plum and The Teskey Brothers.
“Great Southern Nights is part of the NSW Government’s COVID recovery plan and was created to kick start the bounceback of the live music, hospitality and tourism industries,” Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney, Stuart Ayres, said.
