Organisers have cited "rising operational costs associated with event production and stringent festival regulations" as the reason for the year off.

Another Australian music festival has exited the landscape, with Good Life Presents announcing it will not be returning for 2025.
Having first launched in 2010, Good Life swiftly asserted itself as Australia's leading festival tailored exclusively for 13 to 17-year-olds, with hundreds of events being held over the past 15 years.
Dedicated to introducing teenagers to live music while creating a sense of community in a safe and engaging environment and supporting emerging Aussie artists, the festival has brought countless stellar names to Aussie shores over the years.
Previous editions have featured names such as Avicii, The Kid LAROI, Skrillex, A$AP Rocky, Marshmello, Macklemore, and much more.
However, 2025 will not feature the event on the local calendar, with organisers explaining that rising costs, regulations, and other factors have made it “unfeasible” to hold a successful event in 2025.

"The decision to pause Good Life this year was not made lightly,” explained Good Life Presents Event Director Paul Barbaro. “The rising operational costs associated with event production and stringent festival regulations, particularly in states like New South Wales, have posed significant challenges.
“These factors have made it unfeasible to deliver the worldclass line-up and experience our attendees have come to expect.
“Good Life is more than just a music festival—it’s a rite of passage for Australian teens,” he added. “Our mission is to create an affordable, drug and alcohol-free event where young people can safely immerse themselves in live music and entertainment, creating a much-needed safe space for teens to connect offline.”
Despite this, organisers are confident about Good Life returning to the live music landscape, with the official website already urging fans to register for updates regarding the 2026 edition of the festival.
“We’re optimistic about the future and are actively seeking government support, advocating for the reform of overbearing festival regulations,” Barbaro added.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the fans, artists, partners, and the broader community for their unwavering support over the years and look forward to returning stronger in 2026.”
Good Life Presents' last event was the Lost City festival, which featured Lil Pump, Joel Corry, Will Sparks, and more in April 2024.
