"I haven’t spoken with him at all about recording and touring."
In an ongoing saga that now seems a little too high school for forty year olds to be wrapped up in, Blink-182 bassist/vocalist Mark Hoppus told us today that he hasn't been talking to former member Tom Delonge about recording and touring again.
Earlier this week, news circulated that founding guitarist Delonge had split from the band in 2015 to focus on his Sekret Machines Project, which he swiftly denied via social media, claiming once again he was still a member of the band and had been talking about recording and touring with drummer Travis Barker.
Speaking with theMusic.com.au, Hoppus said a reunion with Delonge isn’t something on his radar.
"I don’t know what [Delonge]’s talking about because I haven’t spoken with him at all about recording and touring,” Hoppus said.

In May, Barker claimed that he was talking to Delonge on a weekly basis, whereas Hoppus says he has only spoken to the guitarist once in the past two years.
“I’ve spoken with Tom one time since 2014 and it was totally genial enough and it was fine. But it’s not something that we’re even talking about,” he said.
Coincidently, Hoppus’ comments follow the release of new single No Future, the fourth taste of the band’s upcoming California LP, set to drop July 1.
California is Blink-182’s first album with Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) on guitar and vocals.
