More Mallrat More Mallrat

On the cover of our Sydney magazine this week alongside Drapht and Gill Bates, hip hop upstart Mallrat has announced a super-exciting signing to booking agents New World Artists.

The Brissy teen — who describes herself as the 'Hannah Montana of the rap game' — is a serial overachiever, having scored airplay at the ripe young age of 16 and is already on the way to supporting Tkay Maidza. She'll be playing Come Together Festival in two weekends alongside Aussie hip hop mavens Spit Syndicate, Allday, Tuka and more, and is the only female on the bill.

Mallrat joins the likes of Grinspoon, Feki, King Parrot, The Meeting Tree and more at New World Artists and has just announced her debut EP, Uninvited, out on 1 July. The first taste of the album is delivered with the the synth-cool of Inside Voices.
