Months after postponing his remaining Anita Max Win tour dates in Australia and New Zealand, it’s official: those Drake shows have been cancelled.
Drake and the Live Nation Australia and New Zealand teams worked hard to secure new dates within a “necessary timeframe,” but unfortunately, it wasn’t possible. The dates affected were Drake’s third and final show in Brisbane and the fourth and final night in Sydney, plus the New Zealand dates.
The shows were originally scheduled for Tuesday, 4 March, at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre and Friday, 7 March, at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena. The rapper was also set to perform at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Friday, 28 February, and Saturday, 1 March. The New Zealand dates were rescheduled in late January, while the Australian dates were postponed in late February.
Today (29 July), ticketholders received an official event cancellation notice, which is now displayed on the Ticketek website. It reads:
Live Nation Australia regrets to inform you that the previously postponed Drake shows in Australia and New Zealand have now been officially cancelled. Despite extensive efforts to find a solution, rescheduling within the necessary timeframe was not possible.
Drake remains committed to returning and performing these shows when his schedule permits.
Ticketholders will be refunded for the cancelled shows. The Music has reached out to tour promoters Live Nation for comment about the cancellation notice.

Due to extraordinary demand, multiple dates per city were booked for Drake’s Anita Max Win tour. He was scheduled to perform for five nights at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena, four nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, three nights at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, and two nights at Perth’s RAC Arena. He played a majority of the shows in February.
The Anita Max Win Tour marked Drake’s first stops Down Under since his 2017 Boy Meets World Tour.
Since that run, the rapper has dropped multiple significant albums, including 2018’s Scorpion, 2021’s Certified Lover Boy, 2022’s collaborative project with 21 Savage, Her Loss, and 2023’s For All The Dogs.
