Drake Postpones Remaining 'Anita Max Win' Australia & New Zealand Tour Dates

Unfortunately for fans who had tickets to Drake’s third and final show in Brisbane and the fourth and final night in Sydney (or tickets to his New Zealand shows), the remainder of the rapper’s Anita Max Win tour dates have been postponed due to “scheduling conflicts.”

Speculation about the remaining dates on Drake’s itinerary ran rife this week as fans and online sleuths tracked down a flight he’d embark on today (February 26) to Nadi, Fiji. The rapper is then reportedly set to land in Hawaii and Toronto.

While the last dates on the Anita Max Win tour were scheduled for next week – Tuesday, March 4, in Brisbane and Friday, March 7, in Sydney—and there was time for Drake to potentially return to Australia, the dates are off.

Last month, the New Zealand dates were postponed from being sandwiched between Australian dates to mid-March: Saturday, March 15, and Sunday, March 16, in Auckland.

Earlier today, a spokesperson for the rapper told The Daily Mail that the last four of Drake’s 16 sold-out shows in Australia and New Zealand would be postponed due to a scheduling conflict.

All tickets will remain valid for the yet-to-be-announced new dates, and refunds will also be available.

Drake’s Anita Max Win Australian tour began early this month at Perth’s RAC Arena, where the rapper promised to give two lucky groups in the audience $20,000 each.

In addition to the shows, the rapper has been busy in Australia, particularly enjoying Melbourne hotspots, including Prahran-based cocktail bar Electric Bar and Maison Bâtard’s Le Club, where he sang karaoke for an intimate audience.

Drake tour postponement announcement:

Due to a scheduling conflict, four of Drake’s 16 sold-out shows in Australia and New Zealand will be postponed. We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows.

All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets may be released for sale at a later date.
